Biography

Valentino is a talented young cellist with a deep passion for and appreciation of classical music. He discovered the cello while attending his Waldorf school, where regular orchestra classes first sparked his love for the instrument. Since then, his technique, musicality, and repertoire have continued to grow.

Since fourth grade, Valentino has studied under the guidance of his school orchestra teacher and mentor, José Torres, whose encouragement and dedication have helped nurture his love of music from the very beginning. For the past two years, he has also studied privately with Evgenia Mott, Principal Cellist of the Miami Symphony Orchestra, whose instruction has played an important role in his continued artistic development.

In 2026, Valentino was selected by audition to participate in the Florida All-State Concerts, recognizing his dedication and accomplishments as a young musician. He looks forward to continuing his musical journey through performance, collaboration, and study.
